C-DOT participated in the Global Conference-cum-Exhibition on "India R&D 2005 - The World's Knowledge Hub of the Future" at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi from November 7-8, 2005 . The event was organised by FICCI, in partnership with the Department of Science & Technology (DST), the Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion (DIPP) and the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR).

Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, the Hon'ble President of India, graced the C-DOT booth where he was given a brief overview of C-DOT and its products and technologies. The President later inaugurated the conference that was attended by many international delegates.
